Brian S. Kaplan
Brian has been representing businesses, individuals, and government and non-profit entities in various business and real estate litigation since 1998.
Prior to founding Kaplan Law, Brian spent 12 years as a founding partner of Lewis & Kaplan LLP and was a member of the Trial Department at Hill & Barlow, a large Boston firm, for four years.
Each year since 2010, the publisher of Boston magazine has named Brian a “Super Lawyer.” Brian’s work has been the subject of articles in Boston magazine, The Boston Globe, The Cape Cod Times, and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Brian was appointed a Special Assistant Attorney General to defend the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in a $350 million dollar class action.
Brian graduated from Tufts University (1992) and the Georgetown University Law Center (1998 magna cum laude). He was President of the Board of Directors of the Griffin Museum of Photography from 2015 to 2017.
